I am an artist and mother. I went to Rhode Island School of Design to study graphic design. I wish I had been brave enough to follow my heart and study painting. I worked in NYC at TIME magazine for 8 years before dumping everything for an adventure in a cabin in the woods. I learned about solitude and wood stoves. My facilities were in an outhouse with a frosty seat in the winter. After marriage, children, and divorce, I moved to a nearby house that had a flat driveway and plumbing. I built a studio in the front yard and I am living the life I choose with my children.
